Steve Kelly

Steve started his career in 1983 working for Baker Watts primarily as a fixed income specialist. After moving to Alex. Brown & Sons and becoming a Principal of the firm in 1993, Steve left the final successor firm, Deutsche Bank Alex Brown in 2001 to work at Credit Suisse First Boston in the new Baltimore office. Steve is a co-founder of Harbor Investment Advisory, LLC which was created in 2009 with the vision of building a boutique firm where seasoned Advisors can objectively serve theirs clients’ investment needs in an environment free of corporate distractions. Steve is a graduate of Georgetown University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance, and a graduate of the Wharton School Securities Industry Institute Program.

Steve has been in leadership positions at a number of Baltimore nonprofits over the past 30 years including the Kennedy Krieger Institute, McDonogh School, The Hearing & Speech Agency and Irvine Nature Center.
