Ned joined the Poe Group in 2019 as a Vice President and Financial Advisor for private wealth and fiduciary advisory. A graduate of the University of Virginia, Ned previously worked for United Bank Wealth & Investment Management dating back to 2010. Prior to his tenure at United Bank, Ned worked for the Institutional Investments and Private Wealth groups at MTB Investment Advisors, located in Baltimore. Ned is a Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor (CTFA).

Outside the office, Ned is actively involved in the Baltimore community. Within the equestrian community, he serves on the Boards of the Maryland Horse Foundation, the Maryland Million (Maryland’s state-sired horse racing stakes program), and the Maryland Steeplechase Association, where he is Treasurer. Additionally, Ned co-chairs the Grand National Steeplechase, and he advocates for agricultural and land preservation causes as a Board member and Executive Committee member of the Valleys Planning Council. Ned is also Treasurer at St. Thomas’ Episcopal Church, where he serves on the Vestry and the Finance & Investment Committee. His interests include horseback racing and riding, fishing, hunting, golf, the Baltimore Orioles, and travel.
